It's possible I missed it in the 21 pages but what front accessories did you use on the motor? I didn't think the lq4 water pump would work with that intake manifold?

What accessories off the lq4? Nothing its a ls1 water pump ls6 intake ls1 starter alt ....only thing from the lq4 is the coils

Alright, I always thought the alternator was underneath the power steering pump. I'm currently in the process of a very similar build.

Finishing up the cage Saturday. Bought some corbeau seats and be out very soon.

Lm7 iron 5.3, lq9 and lq4 are 6.0... I don't know em all either lol...

Oh no problem man ya its a 6.0 ill give you some about the motor
2004 Denali lq4 6.0
Ls6 intake
Arp bolts
Clevlite bearings
LS9 gaskets
Chromoly pushrods
Lunati dual springs
SLP oil pump
SLP double timing chain
Tu2 cam and a bunch of other supporting mods

Looks great, im doin a '99 5.3 with s480 &TH400 RMVB in a 89 notch in a few months, hoping for 7-750whp on e85 or meth depending on e85 availabilty

I'm sure you could do that with e85. Not to mention some awesome track times those cars fly since they are so light.......In my opinion i would much rather do e85 than meth and pump anyday. It makes more power and guys swear by it. Just the issue is that its not available everywhere. If it was on every corner not ONE person would be saying meth and pump gas was better

You on the stock bottom end in the LQ4? Did it have the more stout rods and pistons?

Love your build btw. Car looks awesome.
