What doesn't make sense is my car is lighter than it was stock (3617) but I'm fine with that!! Once I have my slicks and front runners on ill weigh it again I think ill be about 3400

For anyone who's running a Turbo in front of the power steering pulley look into dumping this stock ****! Either had too much tension or heat could be both. But made a mess all over the engine bay. Just bought a billet pulley and need a new PS reservoir

Dang man that sucks... Ive put 300 miles on mine of pretty hard driving and no problems like that yet. But my exhaust housing sets more in front of the water pump rather than the ps pulley. Hopefully mine wont do this. Hate that for ya man. Its always something thats for sure.

Well that sucks to here. Is everything wrapped in the engine bay? If not I would double wrap the hotside.

Just ceramic coated I think it was more of the tension than anything and its the only part from my old motor. But with the aluminum pulley ill be fine I'm going to wrap the lines though just to be safe
All I know is this car is making some power for only 10psi!! !

Ya just be careful and check it for cracks. I'd say it was heat/tension but its more annoying than anything. Throw a little wrap on your lines to be safe. These cars are a workout to steer without PS! Haha

Nice pulley! I actually went with one from one of the newer vettes for mine. Not sure if it would work on a truck pump, but it was a nice metal pulley (rather than the cheap plastic) and was only like $30 shipped. Might be a cheap option for other folks if it fits.

Nice I hope it stays cooler. If not like Martin and I said try setting the fans to like 165 deg that should really help everything. But if not move the rad up a couple inches and use the fans like stock because they pull 4000cfm and move enough air for your set up no problem. I know its annoying but shouldnt be too much work to do that.
