Nice I hope it stays cooler. If not like Martin and I said try setting the fans to like 165 deg that should really help everything. But if not move the rad up a couple inches and use the fans like stock because they pull 4000cfm and move enough air for your set up no problem. I know its annoying but shouldnt be too much work to do that.

I wish I did but honestly I hate gear oil that much I'd rather pay money to have someone else do it LOL
Well us trans am guys are limited on how far radiator can be moved forward. Mine is as far as it can go. Setting against back of headlights now lol. Our headlight setup makes it a little more difficult. But since installing the turbo blanket i drove to work yesterday driving pretty hard and never got to 200 degrees. Then me and the wife drove out to eat last night and around and never got but like 195 even boosting it. So blanket definitely helped a lot.
I wish I did but honestly I hate gear oil that much I'd rather pay money to have someone else do it LOL

Ran today in the blazing heat 100° ran a best of 10.02@137 and couldn't get much traction. The last 2 passes spun hard and ran 139mph. Car was 15psi 15° timing not bad for the first time out. Pump gas with a little 100 octane

Thanks Bill!! Glad I listened and went with the 308s they are so nice on the street and seem to work well at the track just gotta mess with the suspension a little. But can't complain when made a bunch of passes and only thing we did was turn up the boost and change tires.
I feel like just weather alone would of gotten a 9. We will see Wednesday.....

Dear god I can't believe I FINALLY finished all 27 pages of this lol!! Only took like 2 weeks between work, power outages, my computer crashing blah blah blah. Well worth the time though! I'm about to get started on just about the same build on my 83 trans am once I get back state side in July and have been talking to Martin about my setup. Congrats on an awesome build and I'm sure once you get that suspension dialed in, mid to low 9s will be easily accomplished.

Actually Martin picked this cam out also and wow it's a beast! I love it just a little loud for the street.

And the only run I got traction I was finding the sweet spot and launched at 7psi
I tried 10 a few times but it spun the Hoosier qtp's like crazy. I have no experience with them but the only run I hooked was when I didn't do a burnout . It was insanely hot out so maybe the tires were way too hot. It was my first time out with a completely changed set up so I got some learning to do with the car.

Congrats man! You know I walked right by your car twice on Sat and didn't recognize you. You were sitting in the car tuning both times and I was trying to find someone. It was soooo hot...

I thought I saw your car early but didn't see it later on I was looking for it how were you running in the heat? I was struggling black car black interior black suit was insanely hot !
I was surprised how smooth it ran in the heat all I did was change my rev limiter add 2* timing and turn the horsepower **** up lol.
I got warned after my first run becasue I don't have all the safety equip. They said I could finish the day if I borrowed a jacket from someone. I have to bite the bullet and put the roll bar in I've been avoiding. My car ran great, 11.3 on the one run I managed, not too bad with a 4200+ DA.
