Thanks guys :-)

Jeff- it will probably need a 3in on 3in radius 100deg bend. If it ends up too close I can get a shorter master but I think the vette master looks more correct (if that makes any sense).

PSJ- Plan is to have 3 boost levels, 5,8 and 11 psi. Probably be around 525-725rwhp at the low/high levels I would guess. It's going to have cats and I don't see any reason to add race fuel and push it since it won't even be on a drag radial.

I love how you can have practically the tallest intake made for the LS on there and still have epic hood clearance above it

Curious question. On your pro-flo manifold, Edelbrock says to torque the intake bolts to 11ft/lbs. Did you do that, or did you torque them more? I dont know why Im just thinking that 11 is not enough for some reason.

Thanks guys.

PSJ, thanks but not my style.

93 Camaro zzz- 11ft/lbs is fine.

Reckless- haha, you're right!

94vortech- We'll see how it turns out

I did some metal work on the core support for the new (much wider) Griffin radiator and Vintage Air "Monster" condenser. Would love to get the intercooler mounted but I need the grill to check clearance (still at chrome shop).

Originally I planned to use the Mark VIII fan but at 21.5 inches wide it didn't cover enough of the 26in wide core. I found Spal makes a dual 12 in fan setup which fits the radiator perfectly (and was originally designed for OEM use in the Maserati Quattroporte) so I have that on order.

I swung by Intmd8's house to check out the Cadillac today... so cool. The frame is just wicked... To see that bare-metal chassis hiding under that old iron is just sick.

Thanks for the advice on my build Jim!

Thanks John, loved the Merc! I vote TVS 6.0.

I worked on the car a bit more the last couple of days. I decided I didn't like my radiator mounting and intercooler placement. The radiator mounting just looked odd to me and the intercooler blocked off most of the radiator airflow.

I made some new brackets to mount the radiator from the backside, then made some mounts to bolt the fan shroud on and also new intercooler brackets. (so both intercooler and radiator get some direct airflow).

Also punched four holes through the core support. Two 3in stubs on top for turbo inlet and two 2.75 stubs down lower for charge side piping.

The accessory system is made by Wegner Motorsports. Here's a few pics of their latest version-

I made a bit more progress these past few days.

The hood hinges were interesting to work around. (there is a guide bar that extends from them when the hood is closed). And before someone asks, yes I will build a heat shield for the master cylinder :-)
