Looking good guys. Does these coils just use normal plug wires or are they a holley item only.

Is there an extra harness needed to use these coils since there are only 4 of them versus the normal 8?

I just got off the phone with Dennis @ Moore Racecraft he said I'm good to 15psi on the stock coils so I guess I don't need the holley coils after all. That will save me a few bucks.

Part number for the harness is 558-309. Now the question is where do you get it at? No one has it. Summit is checking for us but even a google search blank.

^^^If you hear any news on this please let me know. I need one ASAP. I talked to Summit and they told me that Holley has no ETA on it. And it sucks since this is the only thing that is keeping me from completely finishing the project.

Try Dennis at Moore Racecraft he helped design the software and may have some in stock. I never asked.

Will the stock harness for the coils work? It looks like the pinouts are the same.

it actually plugs directly into the harness where you would normally plug your coils into, ot breaks them into 2 parts each, a, b,c and d. 2 per factory connector.

I got mine direct from holley while talking to them about this ordeal. ill shoot an email to the guy I've been dealing with and see if they are selling them yet.

its pretty trick, cause from what I can tell, just looking, the directions they send have you wiring them wrong. I'm pretty sure I read someone say they wired them per the instructions and they didn't work.

I believe it was the guy on here with the gold colored s13 240. he has a build thread in this section.

Yes the Dominator will control a gm trans. So far I love mine. 1st time out we went 9.57 @ only 11psi. off the wastegates. Just waiting on the boost control so I can turn up the wick.

I will eventually, but I got a hard on for trying to run in the 8s with the 18" wheels in full street trim. Once I meet that goal I'll throw the 15s on with the 325s and see what she does.

I ended up ordering the coils and the hp unit 5 weeks ago so I didn't have to wait and ended up waiting anyways. I got an email from holley saying they will be seeing the new ecu's this week and will be shipped out the same time.

So what is the fix? Do we have to buy new ECU's or can they mod the original ones?

What is the best place to get these from to avoid buying a leftover old unit while still getting the best deal on them? I am in the market for the dominator. Also, are there any differences in the part numbers or how the box looks to tell the difference between the old and new "updated" unit?

thanks
anthony
