Default TX2K4 dyno competition results

Jason Styles '00 Black Viper took top dog so far 1,200rwhp/1,200rwtq by pegging the dyno at 3300 RPM!! The dyno sheet is on ViperAlley; it shows the torque climbing almost straight up when it slams into the limit the dyno can register. Obviously there is a lot more in the car if it could be registered.

Peter Blach was leading the Supra's with 1,131 RWHP.

And the 408 TT C5 Vette layed down 1,013 RWHP.

These numbers are insane for street cars!!!

The Vette made that at 4,500 RPM's and they took it off the dyno.

I'll get the dyno sheet on the Vette ASAP... But if it did make 1013@4500RPM we are looking at 1182.3 ft lbs of torque.... I can't wait to see the dyno chart and compare it to the 1200+ that we did here in town. Plus looking at the dyno chart that I do have (the 1046RWHP), our peak torque numbers don't happen until about 5500RPM. At 4500RPM we were at about 760 on the old dyno. I just wish the dyno wasn't having issues with so many cars.

And to think, all this power with no nitrous...

I heard from some Supra friends that were there that said they did that pull to only 4500 RPM's due to a 160 mph top speed on the dyno.

True, unfortunately its an older dyno that can only go to 160MPH when measuring a car. There is no way it would have enough traction to do a 3rd gear pull so they opted (the operator) to shut it down early before it hit 160 so that at least some data could be recorded.

The Viper is running dual power adders I sure hope it makes numbers like that, it has a blower and a 250 shot?

How come the Vette was not running strong trap speeds?

The owner was preoccupied with running his Supra so the builder drove the car. He hasn't had ANY seat time in the car so he was taking it easy. Managed to trap around 138 at low boost with a 97MPH 1/8 mile speed. Low boost yields 775RWHP...

It'll be a runner once Stacey hops in the seat.

Also, the Viper managed high 800s without the bottle from what I can tell... Probably more than a 250shot I would assume.

I have no idea... Its getting a rollbar before he goes back to the track though, so who knows how long that will be. Its been on order for quite some time and still hasn't shown up.

Should be interesting......

That viper was 880's for power last time I heard.......not too bad, I was watching some vids of it racing some busa's.......

That car w/spray on top of the setup is wicked.....

Not the same car you are thinking of. The car in the busa video was a different car, built by a different tuner (DLM). While Jason's viper was built by RSI. He is part owner of that shop.
