FYI, if you ever want to weld up a rear, I'm not far...and I have a jig/fixture.

What's the spec on the cam?
Spec on the turbo? did a quick search on it on my phone. Couldn't find any info on the gt45

what kinda welding, like the tubes or narrowing?

ZR1/LS9 cam from gmpp
its like 211/230 565 lift 122LSA right around there

the gt45 is from VSracing, its a 68mm inducer 96-99mm exducer i think, 1.05 AR t4 exhaust flange 3.5 inch DP (mine is necked to 3)

Weld the tube, straighten, 9" housing ends, braces, etc....basically whatever you could want to do to an 8.8.

Here's one I have going now...

I have mine the same way, 3.5 to 3" with a 3" glasspack just to mellow the sound, When I take the glasspack off I gain 2psi and the turbo makes that whirling sound at every press of the gas, I wonder if 3.5" pipe the whole way would gain anything

alot of people on turbo forums said to make my exhaust bigger, im going to have to at some point

I went with 4". Probably overkill but it fit in the provided space so why not.

yeah i had tried a muffler and it killed 50rwhp on low boost, so they were like, well you have a 3 inch exhaust instead of 3.5 or 4, could be doing the same thing

they are totally right, and its not like i have alot of exhaust to replace.

Would have been close to 140mph trap speeds if you would have let it eat in the back half....
