compression in one cyl is 60psi cold closed throttle the rest are 130-150 soooo haha that one is hurt, i pulled the valve cover and thats ok, gunna be a piston or valve problem, im uploading a video quick, this plug was laid over onto the electrode, any reason why that happened, extreme heat?

itll be up then i have spare soldiers for this motor

if i watch that video closely on full screen i can see it goes 10.0 afr then goes like 13.0 on spray in the beginning of the pass, nothing terrible. other than the meth isnt on till 10lbs, and i doubt it hurt the cyl then but it could have contributed.

it was smoking a tiny bit out of the valve cover when i checked it out in the pit so i knew i had hurt it.

I say just drop the 5.3 in it. It will spool that turbo a little quicker . The electrode laying over or closing up is to much heat. Do you check plugs when tuning? do the plugs have any specs on them?

very minimal specks on some plugs, i think ill be putting a 3 bar map on my ignition side and leaving 15deg in at lbs and then lowering it for now at 22lbs and putting in the colder plug to be safe.

I noticed in your last vid you were using 6's, im pretty sure a non projected tip 7 would be much safer!

Goodluck, cant wait to see her back up and running!

its better to keep the timing low, especially on pump gas, let the boost make the horsepower

I swear I see more JY motors die to pump/meth than anything else.

Yes most of our builds are e85 cars, we do have some straight pump gas cars though, but don't push the limits on pump.

Curious as to what's pushing the limits power wise on straight pump no meth?

My car is getting finished soon and trying to figure out how far I can push her safely!
