Nitrous to Turbo Help
Single 76 Turbo.
Here is what I was planning to do with the LQ4 block i just purchased (I was going to pull most of the stuff of my built nitrous LS6 motor) CR was 11:1 but was hoping with a thicker head gasket and dished pistons instead of my flat tops it would lower it. I suppose I could sell my heads/cam and just get a more turbo friendly one but was trying to save as much money as i can since I still have to get the BMR K member and new rear.
I was going to use a stock lQ4 crank
Forged pistons/rods (-30 Dished maybe?)
The Comp Cam G5X3-114 LSA I already have
My heads ported/milled heads (59cc)
ARP mains, rods, and head bolts/studs
LS9 Head Gasket
Firmer Valve springs
GM LS7 Lifters
Piston Rings
I'll probably sell my stock and 46# injectors for better ones
any suggestions are encouraged
The turbo kit on the Vette was a whole package deal, I am not used to having to peice mill it all together lol.
