its obviously a 4.8 with the flat tops in a iron block. no point debating it further until he measures the stroke to be 100% sure.

Hector, I heard you did blow up your ls2 and thats why your putting that 4.8 in. No need to lie about it man. We all make mistakes and break **** but next time you should listen to the people trying to give you good advice. Especially when they have been down the road you just blew your motor on. Its not that your special or anything but when you do everything the wrong way it ALWAYS cost you more. There really is no such thing as cheap power. Good luck with your car

Hector, I really personally don't care what happened to your car. I am just saying what alot of people want to tell you but coming from them you seem to take it wrong. I would say your car did ok for itself when it had the bottle on it. But making a FI car work takes alot more money/time/patience. Nobody I know has ever put something together and had it work right off the bat. Something always gets changed. Do your homework and learn from other peoples mistakes. When guys go on forums trying to go against the grain it always ends the same, in your case you were told the things you would want to reconsider and it seemed like you blew it off. It's basically like telling the people that spent the time/money to put something together right that there stupid for doing it and your going to show them whats up. Thats why your getting the "I told you so responses" on the local forum. Live and learn man.
