I actually took my drivers exam in a Caprice station wagon. Talk about difficult parallel parking.

Could always do a early 90s thunderbird. You could even get the turbo coupe badges for it, technically it would still be accurate.

I think the drivetrain would weigh more than the car.

They do put liter bike motors in them though.

The Turbo/LSX fairmonts are great. I remember someone had one posted here with the Turbo hidden in the fender. Talk about street sleeper...

Andy, the Datsun 240 you showed is far from a sleeper, that thing looks sick as hell, and that Datsun 510 looks like a deathtrap.

I know. But get a stock one and people will be like "what" when they see it. Then it goes flying by you. It's another take on the FC/FD RX7 swaps. Lightweight cars with a solid V8 (LSx) powering them.

i vote something for a 1977 grand lemans.

with the long and wide wheelbase it wont be squirelly on the street, and you can still get it deceptively light.

bruise egos on the street, and then when you get tired of the street, make it a crowd pleaser at the track and bruise some egos there too

and run like this

If you wanna do a first. Build a brand new body style beetle. Has more room under the hood hand the old one.

Does it count as a sleeper if 90% of people dont know WTF it is? I vote this:
