s475 inlet elbow suggestions

I was thinking of just using something like this bottomed-out into the inlet housing, and using a 5" to 4" silicone transition hose to hold it in place.

I have a cobra head elbow for street use. Very nice pice, rigid as hell, i cant believe anyone said these would collapse, i can stand on it, and it doesnt bend at all. Very nice piece.

Do you think neckinging down the 5" inlet to a 4" inlet would cause any losses? I'm only looking to make apprx 12-14lbs of boost at full tilt. The inducer is only 75mm/2.95", so even 4" seems more than enough. Unless, there's somekind of flow pattern that I'm not considering.

the part from intake hoses is the one you want to order, if you look at their website it shows the correct dimensions. Very confusing because because the racers solutions part is the same part number except for not having letters on the end.
