2012 update!

Not going to get into an arguement, but when the sleeve dropped it allowed the gasket to torch which let it hydrolock. We've been through all that and it isn't the rods fault. We run the Callies ultra billets to 2500 HP + and over 9000 RPM ( 7.20's , 200mph, 3300 -3400 lbs). Changed rod bolts at refresh and going again.
You have got to get the head sealed.

No that should not be happening. Are you running the ultra billets in an LS? CBB ultra billets have much more material and looks strong!
No meaning to argue about this. I have all parts i need next week and then it will be ready to finally go racing, that is what´s all about.

Yes, we are running ultra billets I beam (see pic in Ray Litz 275 build). The pic of yours is an H beam.
I'm glad you're on your way to getting it back together. The MGP or GRP are good rods and I especially like the serrated parting surface.

Correct for what? I read plugs every pull and can post picture of them here. Stop making up excuses for that the sleeves dropped and you choose the wrong rods. I´m the tuner of the worlds fastest lsx you are not.
As i wrote on yellowbullet: Fraser have lost a customer because of all his bullshit. I have bought parts and engines from him the last 4 years and this is how i get threated?

All sleeves sank in the block and blew the gasket. Which sparkplugs did you modify the head for? I used NGK R5671A and they are 5mm to far up so they don´t even reach the combustion chamber.

My question is: Why would a sleeve move? This should absolutely never happen... ever. Considering the process to install them, the fact that they moved makes me think something is terribly wrong with their installation.

Just wondering why you would say that it hydrolocked when it appears there is no water on the deck of this motor? Only way would be to pour methanol right into the runners. really dont give a **** if the sleeves dropped or not there is no water getting in that motor and the rods bending is simply an improper application

Initially we installed torque plates, gaskets, studs, on the block put it in an oven for an hour at 160ºF
Then we decked the block.
Later on we installed torque plates again to fill the block, at this stage the sleeves didn't move.
Then we torque plate honed the block, it had torque plates on it 3 times and was heat cycled.
Andreas uses a Pyramid ring that sandwiches itself between the sleeve and cylinder head, it worked great on the iron LSX block, doesn't look like the warhawk sleeves liked it.

I hope all this help you when you choose engine builder. There are many out there. And hopefully you choose someone that does'nt attack you on forums when they have sold you the wrong parts.
