Default tahoe needs some help

ok here is the deal. i'm thinking about changing thing up in the tahoe. here is what i want to do. take the 5.3 out and stroke it and make it a 363. that a 4" stroke with a 3.8" bore. that would give me a lot of cyl wall for strength. this will be topped off with the current p/p'd ls6 heads i have and a nnbs intake mani and 90mm tb. the cam will stay 215/218 595/605 lsg i have now. then i want to remove the single and go twins on the factory flipped manifolds.

so the question is which turbo's. here are my goals i have set for it. on the street i want to maintain the current 10psi i cruise with every day already. now for track days my goal is 900-1000whp. (yes i know its a tahoe) the thing is, being that this thing is heavy i want them to spool rather fast. but i would like them to do it with out a **** ton of back pressure on the motor. I will be staying with a 3200 stall like i have now but will be going to a 4l80e with a 9.5" 14bolt.

from what i have figured and plotted it seems that a pair of 6265 turbonetics turbos would do this job. but i'm not sure how close to there limit i would be. the way i have been plotting is using the full pressure ratio but only half the flow. is this the correct way to do it? should i go with 6665? maybe a .82 A/R in a t4 housing?

thanks for the help if i have left any info out just ask i can post it up.

Why do people care about the thick cylinder wall of a 5.3, when with a full forged motor, you would lift the heads off the block before anything else being damaged with the motor.

Just wondering.

why do people always bitch about guys going with smaller displacement motors. not everybody wants a damn 402 or bigger motor.

Yes you cut the flow in half.
I don't think you'll like the spool on the billet 62 & 65mm turbine's and small cid for a DD.
In no particular order-
6262's
GT3788's
GT3582R
T61 ptrim w/.69 ar -cheapest

A 3.8 bore has ~ .115 per side more sealing area than a 4.030.

If it were me I'd just go with a 6.0L +.005'' with good rods and pistons. I'd much rather have the bore stroke, and rod ratio, 3.622 stroke and breathing benefits of the 4'' bore. That long small bore long stroke isn't going to do what you are hoping for for the tq. A 6.0L set up right makes decent tq. JMO

thats what i was trying to figure out is what turbine would be good for flow and yet spool quick with out causing hella back pressure.

well, when it comes down to it. if i absolutly do not like it all i will need is pistons and a block. but for now this is what i wanna try out. i think it will work out better than what most think.
