Default 1965 Chevy II (Twin TC78,408,Holley HP EFI,TFS235,etc)

Since I enjoy reading other peoples build threads on here, thought i'd make one of my own.

It's a 1965 Chevy II that I bought from my Dad, he owned it since I was 13. Last year he decided he wanted to sell it and right away jumped on the chance to buy it from him.

Got the car in August of 2011 and have been working on it since. Started with a 5.3 engine for mock up till I decided what to do for an engine. Ended up going with a 408 callies crank/rods, wiseco pistons, 6.0 block, tfs 235's.

Engine hit to firewall so had to notch it out

TC78's .96ar

Threadstone Intercooler

-16an fitting welded on the rad

Driver side

Pass side

I now have the 5.3 out of the car and waiting for the 408 to be done at the machine shop. Also need to order a bunch of other little things. Slowly coming together. Hope you guys enjoy!

Badass. Glad to see so many 1st gen Nova's building TT's. I am getting ready to drop my engine in soon.

Who's valve covers are those? I assume you are running a catch can?

Stock truck manifolds flipped around, had a friend weld 2.5 mild steel to them.

Do you think the 78's with 96a.r will spool ok on the street? Thinking of going to twins, just wasn't sure if 78's would be to big. Thanks for the help.
