Default "Bloodline" 68 Camaro TT LS3

Thought I would start a project thread on here for those of you who like to look at turbo eye candy. Its getting done at Absolute in Petaluma.

I will be using:
2 Turbonetics T04E T3/T4 57mm Turbos
2 Turbosmart ultragate 38mm wastegates
1 Turbosmart raceport BOV
8 LS3 60lb Injectors
Stainless steel downpipes and aluminum charge pipes
intercooler

Mocked up the headers and manifold. Need to adjust the angle of the manifold flanges to go upward 10 degrees so it won't hit my alt and compressor. I decided to try out the obx since they came already polished. I figured for 450$ it was worth a gamble. Well.... they fit perfect so Im going to try them out. The valve covers will be replaced with billet ones since the carbon ones can't take the turbo heat. Now just have to wait for my other parts to get here. Stay tuned!

It was made by a guy named Jamie Krogdahl and uses 2 electric throttle bodies. I have a Holley Dominator harness and ecm which will allow me to run both.

Valve covers are made by Carbon components. Some people say they leak but these ones didn't on the other car. They will melt though with the up and forward headers so they need to be replaced with billet ones. Coils will be ran on the front crossbar.

I guess I could start a car build thread for those of you that wanted to see the whole car.

The firewall will stay clean since the masters and brake lines will all be under the dash with remote fillers mounted in the cowl panel

This is a nice car but not out of the realm for anyone if they have the money to throw at a shop. Not really a build thread.

I appreciate your comments but not everything was done by a shop. I was the one who assembled the engine, subframe, suspension, brakes, etc.

Shop painted it and another shop is doing the turbo/wiring since I have no idea to do turbo kits nor did I want the engine to explode.

I don't see that Tony's comment really has a place in this thread. Not everyone has the expertise to do every aspect of the car not to mention this is the forced inductions section.

John, absolutely gorgeous car. I can't wait to see the finished project.
