On my setup the drain goes to the timing cover, Depends on the location of your turbo......

it can go anywhere there is oil, so long as you are above oil level you'll be fine.

Remote mount = scavenging pump.

If you use a pump, you can return any where from the heads to the oil pan.

I just tapped right into the Oil fill port on the valve cover. I tapped in a 3/8 NPT hole at the very bottom where there's a lot of material for threads.
I also use a oil pump on mine. (front mount though)

I was thinking timing cover or oil pan. This will be a signifigant part of the turbo build to r&r either and weld on fitting. Hopeing there was an easy button. On some 6.0 (escalades I know) have a oil coolers bolted to the pan above oil filter. One pipe would have to be pressure and one a return. Might could run both oil lines from there. My main concern is the turbo will be high on the right side and cooler mount is low on left, probly not down hill enough. Anybody ever try this?

If I could go back I would have gone with the oil pan when the motor was out of the car. With the motor in the car, I would say timing cover would be easiest. Best to take the pan off to clean out the shavings. The timing cover doesn't leave a lot of room between the return line and the crank pulley but if set up properly it works fine.

This is interesting. You have your pressure and return together. probly have to run a pump for return. Good thing if you ever removed turbo it would be ten minuites to return to stock.
