Got my Daily into the 9's Build Thread
Long story short i had a black 99 T/A that was my Daily with a turbocharged Lq4 , stock ported 317 heads and nitrous cam. it ran 10.50's weighing 3860 without me in it. last winter i got T-Boned so i gutted it and bought a donor.
Plan was , lighter , faster , stronger.
It is an 01 SOM Firebird , Ebony cloth manual interior, and a hardtop. I wanted the lightest possible Platform.
Over the winter i built this car in house at Slowhawk , Because i work there.
I worked VERY VERY hard to keep this car my Daily. Its easy to go fast, gutting cars and putting parts in them looking for power and losing drive-ability but that was unacceptable for this car.
I Daily drive this car, 45 miles to work and back everyday 7 days a week. Drive it to the track 115 miles from my house and back, 3.25's and OD are great

Slowhawk Performance tune

Don Fab'd the hotside, Spec'd the cam, gave me vital insight and kept me from using used parts as much as he could lol. I built the motor from scratch, and did all the chassis fab work and everything else.
Heres the humble beginings..............

just 60 ft it and let out
For 1/4 mile times. The time above is pretty much a joke. Straight 93 octain, no stalling and technically just a test pass like it would hook/run on the street. Car can easilly hit high 8's with some gas, boost and ussing the 2-step.
Now just need to paint the hood..
