Good to know,i am running the knock sensors that came with my motor.they are from a 01 lq4.from my understanding the trucks are just as sensitive. I have changed the data but it seemed to make things worse and its all over the place and totally irratic. I have thought about desensitizing them but am a little hesitant, but I do need to do something. Cars currently parked till I throw some race gas in it. I have thought of mixing e85 in and read of people doing it but problem is you have to be consistent and closest place that has it is 40miles away. Im just going to get a meth kit to add safety.hopefully later this week ill know for sure its false knock. From the multiple times ive had my car on a lift at work I know nothings banging around, so once I verify with less boost or more octane ill know for sure

little update.early this week when i was down to a 1/4 tank i added a few gallons of 110 octane race fuel and did a little logging.still the same story showing kr even on 8 psi.
and after much reading on 98 pcm i decided it was time to desensitize the knock sensors.all seems to be good now, hopefully my knock sensors will still pick up actual detonation.
thanks for everyone's help

Well I guess it's time to take it to the track!

At least some videos man!

If you want it to live keep it around 11psi on the pump gas, when you get the methanol injection you can increase it to 14 and max the kpa table out

I'm glad you are pleased with what I was able to do for your tune. I was watching some of your older videos of you racing and a lot of the cars that were beating you before it looks like now you are returning them the favor!!!

If anyone else needs any help with their tune on any kind of set-up as long as I have the software for the ecu you use I can modify your tune.

And Joe whenever you are ready to cam this thing I already have been punching some numbers in the valve event calculator and I have something right up your alley. When you're able to make power and turn it to 6500rpm you will really be running those guys down!!!

Well the cam needed for a ls1 intake versus a vic jr. are a lot different. It would be up to you, but the the victor jr. would really need to be turned way above what your bottom end can handle at 13psi rpm wise to show an advantage over a stock style intake.

Do you still have the truck intake somewhere? They are really good intakes even though they are ugly as hell.

No the truck intake is long gone, plus iirc it wont fit an fbody. Ill honestly keep running my stock intake intil I get bored, right now I got ideas in my head going in circles of what I wanna do next.i have been seriously thinking of going th400 & 2.73 gears, but I feel I may dislike it. I think I just need a fox coupe that I dont care about,i like the fact my car is still a driver.
