I do think it looks just as badass as it sounds though.

Now if it was a turbo car that was stealthy, I could understand not wanting to show the world that you are running FI, but with a Procharger screaming to the world "HEY LOOK AT ME" there's no point in trying to hide it.

I'm wondering if you could run it like this and with the aid of the water/meoh still control IAT's and have your foglights totally hide the fact that you have a FMIC....

i i know the meth is going its job, but a 70mph wind does its job as well when flowing across that IC. I mean the IC is pretty much like a condensor for a fridge, and without a fan or something blowing on it, the dissipation of heat will go out the door.

i think the best option for him or anyone looking to hide it, would be to get the front bird cover done with the mesh screen so that you still get air flow, and just use the Cx racing cooler that allows for you to tack on some mounts and run the lights. its more work.

then again the other solution is e85. people have been asking me why keep running the meth if I am on e85. well we are also going to run a 93 tune for when i go out of town and there is none to buy. ill just grab my laptop and re flash it fill it up and still have some safe fun.

remember the goal here is to free up some boost from that d1 hes running.

optional things that contribute.....truck intake or custom, fmic, methanol, aster bracket, and of course rpm levels.

they can be powdercoated easily. i have a ton of my under the hood items powder coated gloss black. its a neat process to watch, and way better than just painting it. im going to get you a link to the guy that makes the tag plates.

he does good work and its for a good price too. keep in mind you do not have to keep the bird in the middle. that is the way I would do mine. still get airflow, but dont have the IC showing, etc...

my procharger radiator cover is gloss black
valvecovers
timing chain covers
all my procharger piping

and of course my intake is painted, and I have some black anodized covers for things such as the battey, and head plates etc. gotta look good when you lift the hood i always say!

FMIC powder coated to match your car would be pretty stealth, especially if you get the modified front license plate cover with the mesh in it black as well. Most people who didn't know f-bodies wouldn't even notice it.

Gonna do the poor mans belt wrap method first on her like I did with my old 6 rib setup. FMIC might have to wait until I have time to do some fab work this winter.

Some companies sell them with black anodizing available. If not offered from the factory you can have them black anodized by a professional coating company. FMIC setups are GREAT compared to the twin 3.5s.

What kind of modifications need to be done for the F1C to fit?

I either stand up the radiator and what not. Or I cut some of the rad bracket and slide it forward. I am going to look at doing that first. I do not really want to stand the rad up as of right now.
