It's funny how things snowball sometimes. I'm having the same debate with myself rightnow with regards to header size. But then again, 1st and 2nd are useless due to no traction, and 3rd gear scares the **** out of me above 5000rpm, so I'm not really sure I need more power right now.

I say get the car back together and see how you like it. You might be surprised at how it feels and be fine with it for a while.

I am sure it is going to be mental. I want the Kooks just because of the better quality as well. My pacesetters are starting to show there age and it is time to put a good set of headers on the car.

It will be more than mental. A good set of larger equal length tuned headers will make more power. You might lose a little low end power, but you'll more than make up for it. Bob

Will the truck inlet hat fit on the fl1c? I looked at it and my guess it will not but I figured you would know for sure.

It won't fit without a silicone adapter as it will be .25 too small. Thanks. Bob

Gotcha. I am not keen on the setup the guy i bought it from sent me. It looks like it flows well and has the huge filter on it. I have to make some drastic modifications for it to work though.

I would like to see how the f1c would turn out. Why dont you run an air to water intercooler like mine? I didnt want to cut my front bumper apart either and I can have full cooling right off the line where your air to air doesnt do anything yet. Cant even tell its under the bumper.

How much is the air to water setup? I have water meth on the car as well. I dont drag race the car so it is all kinda meh to me. Not cutting up the bumper would be a plus though.

I had poor boys racing build a custom aluminum tank in the back with a rule boat sump pump, a heat exchanger up front, and some rubber lines. All said and done it was probably $600. I just bought the cx racing stuff off ebay.

Worked out in the garage til bout 2am last night. Got a little farther. Ordered some more piping. Some of it that came with the kit is damaged a little. Nothing serious I just want it all looking nice and I didn't like where the bypass was mounted either.

I am really interested to see how it all works out since you didnt stand it up. I personally do not love the idea of standing up the rad. but i do like the idea of that giant *** blower. this will be fun to follow. afasty may be the man to PM about getting through some of the hoops. I am not sure if they stood it up or not.
