Default 99 Trans am build thread
OK so last year the car was sts 67mm torquer v.2 cam and ls6 intake making bout 475 on mild tune on 10 psi now i decided to step things up a notch...
New motor parts
forged eagle rods
diamond -8.6 dish pistons
317 heads ported and polished
Engine pro nitro black valves
compcams duel valve springs w/titanium retainers
all arp bolts and studs
comp cam trunion rocker arm kit
slp oil pump and duel timing chain

other new parts
strange 12 bolt 3:42 gears
chro-moly driveshaft(spohn)
spohn torque arm & crossmember
Qa1 single adjustable all the way around
Yank SS3600 stall

im sure im forgetting some little things but thats about it and gunna be running this with my rearmount sts 67mm on prolly 13psi with meth
heres a few engine pics

pulling engine

short block
oil pump and timing chain

comp cams duel springs

nitro black valves

ready for the new 12 bolt

all parts are ordered and ready to be put in juts gotta pick the rearend up from stl and get it all back together

going for 600-650 hp on 14 psi and meth think that is doable?

Dude you forgot one of the best things you have done so far.... removed the decals!!!!

600-650 can be done if the turbo can keep up...

Those pistons look much deeper than -8.6 cc???
More like -25+

nope the piston relief is only -8.6cc

The car will actually be in stl tuned by Dave Steck and I'm moving back to stl
