Guys the OP is an idiot as many of you have clearly seen now. I've been telling him for months now, it won't get through.

The tattoo confirms my first conclusions I made.

Hey, welcome to LS1tech.com, where the majority of the 209,973 members drive 4th gen camaros.

Why dont you go try Camaro 5

wtf did you guys think was gonna happen when you come running into his thread and shoot down everything he wants to do then attack him personally (tattoo)? id be telling you guys to **** right off too. if you guys dont like what he wants to do then STOP READING THIS THREAD. its that simple. this is the kind of **** that brings car sites down. quit acting like a bunch of butthurt school kids and leave the guy alone. so what if he might be making a mistake. its his car and his money and his lesson to learn. jesus christ you guys kill me.

I am confused myself on why most of you in this thread are ragging on the OP's decision. Most of you have never owned a big cube, big cam motor. He stated this is a daily car, not his racecar as he has one already. Having a badass wild big cube motor is awesome, but sure does suck in traffic, going thru drivethru's, drawing a million law inforcements eyes and so on.... Trust me its awesome at first, but gets old real quick.

I see the huge benfits to be able to have a very mild, almost stock driving car thats on good old boost. Just my .02

Good luck OP

Wow I didnt even think about. OP has it ever crossed your mind to try a TVS2300 on the 429? Its not my car, do what you want to. But a supercharger kit would be just the ticket for it imo.

Anyone know how much power can be squeezed out the TVS2300 blowers?

I've also heard of combining a supercharger and a turbo. Not sure if it was in series or parallel. The supercharger maintains pressure while the turbo spools up for higher RPM....I think

**** the haters, do what you want. Ive got hated on for about all of my stuff.
5400# 4wd silverado that ran the 1/8 in 7.2's on a stock LS1 with a mild cam and a Whipple.
And alot of bashing for my home built rear mount '01 Z, that ran 6.4's on 7# with a 6.0, pump gas and A/C, driving it 1 hour each way to the track. Then cracked 3 pistons on that motor and didn't have the cash to fix it at the time. Since I had a bunch of junk laying around, i used a stock LS1 block and pistons, put them with a 4.8 crank and rods to make a 309". And with another 4# of boost, 11# total, it was still running the same 6.4's with 55 cubes less. It turns the same 1.4x 60's as before, and I have about $600 in the bottomend vs $2,000 in the forged 6.0, it runs high 9's on the 1/4 in a daily driver for a lot less money.
So I understand what you're saying, bigger isnt always better. Looks like you got a bunch of experts that can't break out of the 12 second club.... LMAO.
