Default "limit" of boost on Pump gas

Right now I'm only running on 8psi with 93 octane, 17* of timing. If i were to turn it up, how high should i go before considering going with a higher octane fuel. We also have 100 at the pump around here, that is an option, otherwise i will have to pony up for a drum of race fuel if i want to go higher octane than 100.

My old 6.0 ran 15psi on 93 octane with 23 degrees of timing. Never had a problem till the thrust bearing went out.

I would throw 15psi at it, drop the timing some, and then slowly add timing logging it and keeping an eye on KR and keep an eye on the AIT's. If all good increase to 18psi and repeat the process.

I was doing 17 PSI on the 418 making 900+ rwhp on pump.

Only ran 14* max on that level to be safe. I was mixing in a few gallons of C12 whenever I would go over that. 18psi 15* was what I made 975rwhp on but the a/f was horrid(10.2/1) on that run and we ended the session when the coolant hose blew up. Wouldn't mind bringing it over 1krwhp on the 93/c12 mix if sobo wants to sometime.

PS - I was buying the C12 at the pump at Pautlers on Broadway.

Somewhere between 15-17psi is the max I'd run with little fat A/F to be safe.

You dont state whether intercooling is any good, nor do you state what CR you are using.

So it is impossible to give any answer.
