Glad you decided to keep the car.

Most folks who are lucky enough to build a car(or have it built) get one chance if you are really lucky you get more than one.

I've seen guys get rid of cars and regret it eternally.

My wife loves the car but not the money I have spent on it over the years. She wants it to stop but it will not. So I bought her a G8 GT and now she wants exhaust, intake, cam and a tune. LOL

You gotta keep it!! There has got to be WAY to much blood and sweat all over that bad boy. You will NEVER get that back no matter what the dollar amount. Like it was said before, it wont cost you anything to let it sit untill $$ and wife allow you to have your "true love" back on the road. Just my $0.02.

hey good luck and come home safe......I'm ex army also and thank you for what you are doing. My prayers for you and your family while you are gone.

I am glad you are keeping it bro, you worked your butt off on it. And you have 15k into it. Tranny and rearend is the down slope to it. Like they said 2500 for rearend.....and if you want to try it get some books and dvd's on the tranny rebuilding and go for it....... it can be done. Probably need to get a reamer and few odds and ends tools... etc to take care of few issues with the stock valve body also. I rebuilt mine and it is running strong.

I spent 2500 on mine with about everything upgradeable you can put in it with 3200 5 disc stall converter. I was a mechanic before my accident, but I never had a automatic apart before I had did mine.

See what had happened was... lol i've been keeping my eyes on ya. I wish you'd gone with the pa racing k member. i couldn't get online when i finally remembered the name of it to tell you before you bought the bmr.

Thanks again guys. I have a lot invested. actually already about $20k not including the $15k i'm going to spend on drivetrain and redoing the hotside. I couldn't sell it. Somebody with a red trans am is doing a gt91 build and really needs me to roll out with him to tx2k14....
