Callies Compstar H-Beam and Wiseco Pistons.

I would do LSA heads vs the L92s seeing as they have a thicker deck. Or a aftermarket cathedral head.

^^ Im with this guy but I'm partial to diamond pistons. Wiseco makes a great product you cant go wrong with either.

I run a custom -24cc dish diamond piston and a bronze bushed stock rod.

The stock rod will do the deed, but there isn't much margin for error. A friend of mine snapped one at 850+ HP as a result of a methanol failure.

Albeit, the rod wasn't root cause, but it did turn what could have been a chipped piston affair into an event of running over parts of the engine.

Personally, I would probably go aftermarket beyond 800 HP.

For the guys saying stock rods will hold 800hp, are we talking flywheel hp or rear wheel hp?

I knew the newer motors got stronger rods but i didn't think they could take that much. Are they reliable pushing them that hard?

If you are talkin flywheel numbers then yea, the stock stuff will last you a while if you have a good tune on the car. Rwhp... You should save yourself some headache and put some good rods in it. Compstars are probably gonna be your best bang for your buck.
