I'm not sure if they are or not. All if Callies stuff is finished in the USA. I wouldn't be scared of any of their products they have been proven time, and time again.
As far as as those rods. I wouldn't use them in this application. I would go with a good I-Beam. Do you have a builder?

I go to him tomorrow to let him know I want to spend a little more money for some better stuff. Thats why I've been doing some research on my own and getting pricing. He'll build whatever I want, but I told him a couple weeks ago I want to do a somewhat budget build, but a build that will handle 1200 RWHP. I don't want to buy any complete OVERKILL parts.....
He builds sick boosted LSx engines, drag car engines and road race engines. His last badass build was an iron LSX 430ci with a big single turbo, its in a Grand National running mid 7's.
He'll do what I want....I just have to tell him tomorrow I want to upgrade a little bit......

After that, I want to spend $3500 on the rest of the short block to be complete and ready to install. But I'm not gonna skimp, I'll spend a bit more if I have to to make it proper.

Yes and no. I'm not sure they type but their are two types of metal used it I-beam applications. One is like a factory replacement and the other is strong as a brick shithouse. Take a Scat I-Beam and a Scat H-Beam for example. The H-Beam is stronger because of the metal used the way the rod is designed. Now take a Scat H-Beam and a Callies HD I-Beam, the I-Beam is stronger for the same reasons.
Dragonslayer Crank, Callies Compstar HD I-Beams, and Custom Diamond Pistons would be my choice.

My builder gets Compstars for a little over $900....completely balanced with Diamond pistons and whatever those $850 rods were.
Maybe I'll do the $950 Compstar crank - $1200 Oliver rods - $700 Diamond pistons.
$2850. Then gaskets, bearings and rings.

That sounds nice. Since your Turbo it would deal as much of a blow on the crank. See how much he can get a Dragonslayer for, if its say $2-300 more go with it and never look back.

Are you planing on re-sleaving the block? stock iron 6.0 i dont imagine will like 1200 for to long... but i think dragon slayer crank, oliver billet rods and diamond pistons would be sufficent for your goals.

The fastest LS car in the world (well 2nd fastest now) was a stock sleeve 6.0.. It had some stuff done but stock sleeves.
He will lift the heads before he breaks the block.
