Looking to make 15lbs on e85.. What compression should i shoot for?

Default Looking to make 15lbs on e85.. What compression should i shoot for?

Looking to start a new build my current boost setup is in my signature and im makeing about 500rwhp and im looking to go ls2/lq boosted and make more power, right now i can run 10lbs safe on Pump gas (93) i want to convert to e85 and run 15lbs safely, ive looked for somekind of formula but i cant find anything, anyone have experience with this?

E85 is unique, or different than regular gas. It really doesn't have a boost limit before it knock. If you can supply the fuel for the boost, its not going to cause detonation. I believe that E85 uses about 30% more fuel than regular gas, so you are going to need to beef up the fuel system. I would suggest in the 80lb range for injectors and maybe some ethanol friendly dual in tank pumps.

I have the fuel to supply magnafuel 300 pump and a carb not fuel injection

You should be able to run 15lbs without a problem then. I would start rich, keep adding boost, then bring the fuel down slowly once you reach the 15lb mark.
