Default will i meet my goal

alright guys,im in the process of a new build and am trying to figure out the motor side of things.my goal is 700rwhp out of a 5.3 backed by a rmvb th400
with a 3700rpm stall thru a 8.8 in a mustang. i am planning on running a stock 5.3 with head studs ls9 gaskets,228/232 115lsa cam and a borg warner s475 or s480.it this doable? if so am i better off going t4 or t6?im currently leaning twoards the s475 t4 turbo,but if the t6 version should spool fine im good with that.car is being built as a low buck drag car that will also see street duty. your guys input would be highly appriciated

I have not done any tinkering with anything yet, infact i just asked for advice last week and havent touched anything with it yet, tune wise.

2004 5.3
223/230 114 cam
LOW RPM stall, somewhere around 3000k
borg s475 turbo using the twin scroll
no two step
E85
NO innercooler either

i cannot build any boost on the brakes, however, i have not changed my brake pedal for more leverage yet after the manual swap, i have stock calipers out back, etc.

So, trying to build boost on the brakes at the moment, does not work... lol just pushes through, this is probably due to a lot of things, listed above.

Anywho, without a two step and without fudging with the tune, probably around 25* of timing on the brake, and 12.0 afr and it blew open the wastegates in about 4 seconds on the transbrake, 9psi springs, dual 46mm precision gates.

I have not raced it, i have not done anything more then mess with the tune in the driveway and light cruise around the street, i put a hole in my radiator on friday or i wouldve been out boosting the **** out it. Ill report back once i get rolling more.

im running ly5,, stock 08' 5.3 243 heads. .. same exact cam.. on a magnum 76mm..same as mpt76 ,, 14lbs made 550rwhp thru a 4l80e locked converter. 2nd gear pull... 12bolt chevelle ..running 19lbs now...... 700rwhp is big numbers.. its possible..

Awesome, you possibly have any idle clips? Im real interested in how that cam sounds, im wanting some chop at idle

ha ha thanks man,that second vid with the higher speed rolling burnout looked like ya might have pooed your self.car looks like it moves out pretty good.thanks again for the clips
