04 gto, remote turbo
Hey Everyone, have a stock 04 a4 gto. I have finally decided to do single turblow in the rear. Looking to do a Comp Turbo CT43-7679 Oil-Less Turbo. Looking for 500 whp. I am still debating on going pump gas or e85. I am planning on running an IC with either decision of fuel. Just wanting some of your input on if it would be better to run e85 with my goal HP of 500, or if pump gas would suffice.
I don't plan on upgrading anything internally, just the injectors and fuel pump when necessary.

I think with my goals and I am going to stick with pump gas. Looking for only 500whp so I probably dont need to go crazy on the injector size, but I don't want to go so small that I get ceilinged. Just in case I get the itch for more boost. The 76/79 should be able to produce more power than what I am looking for, but id rather go a little too big than too small.

I personally have nothing against a return pump, as long as you use a good one. Im a fan of the turbowerx pump that im using now, but the entire time i was rear mount i used the shurflo pump that Zombie and some others use.
Plug- If you are considering the rearmount, search "ZOMBIE", he has extensive right ups on it.
The oil-less turbos, i dont have an opinion becuase ive never used one. However, Rob Raymer of unleashed seems to use them exclusivily in all their builds and EVERYTHING turns out damn good power! As far as the extra cost, i think thats a relative term, speed costs money, how fast do you wanna go, lol.
IF i had the EXTRA cash in my build, id consider it, but ultimatley would probably not go for it as i can always better things to spend the money on, lol.
Thank you for the kind words on the builds, i thought you might like to see them both since i went through both phases on that car, and have no sold it to a friend and we will doing another turbo build on it this winter, 3 turbo builds on that beast by then, lol.

Some tips for ya
Jba catless mids are a good buy for your build. My sts kit came with a 67mm garett that easily made 500 rwhp. You will need injectors and a 255 pump at a minimum. Lingenfelter has a pump kit with spacers for ya. My sts kit has around 27k miles on it and I've not really had any problem with the oiling system
