Default Wide band questions

I need to ask all you Twin Turbo guys, how are you installing your wide band O2s? I have true dual exhaust coming of my turbos, are you guys using 2 seperate WBs or putting it in an H or X pipe? Is there a way to convert factory O2s to wideband on the 03 (green/blue) PCM and harness? Do I really need WB O2? What is the real difference between wideband and regular O2s?

the diffrance is the stock o2 are not accurate enough for wideband gauges. i have 4 o2 sensors on my car. one stock o2 and one aem wideband o2 on each bank about 10" out of the turbo at a 45 degree slant. the first o2 is the stock and then about 3" down from that is my wideband. you can run the wideband in the rear as long as the have a common pipe. mt self i would run two because its easier to diagnostic with one on each bank.

Do you have 2 wideband guages in your car? Does one guage work 2 O2s?

i have 2 widedand gauges. they do make a dual wideband gauge. but i figured if something does break or go bad it would be cheaper to fix the one that broke. or replace it

Put the sensors about 8-12 inches from the exhaust side of the turbos on the downpipe and run one for each turbo. Thats gonna be the most accurate and safest setup. Hands down you NEED a wideband with a boosted car.

Wideband is a must.
I've always ran the AEM wideband on 3 of my boosted cars with out an issue.

Mine is twin turbo as well. I just have one AEM WB on the left side. It generally runs the leanest on the drivers side.
