Ummm... Why try to run without boost while having a turbo? If you don't want boost; keep your rpms low, below 2500 depending on turbo size and spec's. I don't understand why someone would want to run without boost having a turbo. If done properly a turbo can make your engine more efficient thus give you better mpg.
This is why major car manufacturers are going to small cubed turbo'd engines. Makes the same or more hp as the bigger motors and will get better mpg.

I just can't stand the dumbass liberal names they give these engines ; ecoboost, eco...uuuuhhh. I h8 this green **** shoved down my throat! It's a government made bubble and it will burst! But that's another story!!!

It sound like this electric turbo blower would be perfect for your application, as you can turn it on and off. What I find impressive is that it includes barbs on the hose flange so hose clamps aren't needed. I can't believe I never thought of this before! Bob

Stock tune = 12.0 AFR and some 20* timing

8psi of boost on that AFR/timing = boom

In for results

It did. Fuel system, engine, computer, converter, the car everything.

And it actually didn't die till the oil pump o ring went out.

The fact is later model lsx engines are stout enough to hold quite a bit of boost and the Chinese can manufacture parts that work.

I think youll be fine as long as you stay under 20lb of boost. just hook the turbo up to a cut out no need for a WG or BOV
