Default Procharger guys,ATI+GM Warranty??

Ive heard that an ati procharger wont void the gm warranty, but thenagain with all the stories ive heard about peoples warranties being voided over dumb it seems hard to believe, does anyone know about this (sponsors feel free to chime in)....ive tried the search and came up blank...

Also im aware of the powerdyne being silent, but does the ati give you the beautiful blower whine even with lower psi like 4 or 5 psi kits?

thanks in advance, hoping for some help here....

No way GM would warranty a motor with a blower on it.

no they wont honor a warranty with a procharger on it unless it also has a 100 shot of nitrous on it too...............then they will.

Yeah all depends on the dealer. However with a blower they would not only be cool, you'd need a good friend. Hell my dealer fixed my leaky rearend with an aftermarket torque arm installed

Yes, even if you really don't want it. Had a Procharger on my Tahoe. You could hear the blower whining clear down the street.

Still made it fast.

Then it blew up. :

I talked to a guy about 2 years ago that had a Z06 with a procharger. He said as long as the dealer installs it and is kept under 7 lbs. of boost, the warrenty is still good. Can't confirm whether it's true or not though. Just my 2 cents.

it looks like it is possable just peep this link
http://www.chapmansupertrucks.com/faqs.htm
it says "Question: What will it do to my warranty?

Answer: Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle.(per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302)
** ASM and Chapman provides all CST's with a separate Motor and Transmission warranty for 3yr 36k. This warranty covers a maxim of $3000 in repairs. We know most people will only drive our trucks to church on Sunday but some may run the pooh out of it. The $3000 is an abuse clause. "
