Hey guys, sorry i havent updated this in a while, work has been crazy... Anyways i installed the new IC and its much more responsive now. i took it to the dyno, but we couldnt get any good reading due to a lot of tire sppin. Ill update with more pictures soon

One of these days people will figure this stuff out.
Take what Atomic said... and compare the small cam/ small turbine thought process to the theory that I and alot of others prescribe to with the correct cam/big turbine.
Think Bout the HEAT difference introduced to the turbine wheel from a 40 EVO point and a 65evo point.
231/227 in a 408?
100 bucks says a 12 degree increase in exhaust duration with an even bigger A/R housing would spool better, breathe( rev. Rpm accelleration rate) better, reduce backpressure even.
Glad you at least figured out what you did.

Yea well... you do have a point....
Guess the wouldbt understand that a radial flow turbine is just a funky shaped D'vall nozzle.
Would heads explode if people started talkin P delta and T delta?
Wonder if they bothered to look and investigate how much more leverage a 112mm wheel has over a 92-96...
I see that some get it.

Your car was running good. I am sure you where having the same problem that all of the 2wd cars had that day. This track was very dusty and I had to run my car on low boost to just try to not spin.
Post up the close race with the RX7.

Updates... FINALLY
So my tuner CMS just got a new Mustang 1100 Dyno. If you recall, we were having trouble dynoing the car last time due to traction. With this mustang dyno, traction is definitely not an issue
Unfortunately, with it being a different brand of dyno, its really hard to compare the numbers.... but we wanted to see what it would do on this one.
What was interesting is that it made a lot more PSI. it was a lil above 19 psi when previously it was about 17.5 if i recall. It must load the car more with this dyno... Im not sure. It made 1045 hp and 991 tq which was a decent improvement. What was really great is the new HP curve. Its much stronger and carries a lot further.
New Dyno sheet:
Old Dyno Sheet:
And here's a little simulated 1/4 mile pull. Its pretty insane to see the car on the dyno rowing through all the gears! It did 9.090 at 162.7 MPH

Once the restriction is removed torque can carry much further into the rpm range allowing horsepower to peak at a higher rpm and make higher peak numbers. It also will make for more average power as well.
Think of a turbine wheel being too small as putting a potato in your exhaust pipe on a n/a motor. It will cause the engine to peak much earlier than it should. Turbine being too small does the same thing.

What are the changes on the car from the new dyno sheet and the old dyno sheet? Was it just taking out the eebay intercooler and installing the Treadstone or was it the smaller turbine vs the bigger turbine? Or both? I know we can't compare apples to apples using two different dynos but i'm just curious to see what all you changed to be able to carry more power up top. You had the new turbo with the bigger turbine before you went to the Treadstone right?
Thanks,
Dee
