Another very productive weekend! I changed up a few things again, but nothing crazy..

Changed up my downpipe to run between frame and transmission. Got it to clear great as I plan on running some new style Z06 wheels up front.

Anyways, got fuel system done, driveshaft in, turbo feed/drain done, water pump heater core outlets done, everything painted nice, core support back in and finished some small odds and ends on harness.

It's finally started looking like a complete vehicle again. Should have it to where I can tune it this week sometime.

Here's some more pics!

I can see you!

Yes sir, 1 3/8's freeze plug with a bead of silicone just for kicks. Don't be afraid to tap it into place. Done it a **** ton without a hitch.

what you plan on using for fans? my pullers werent shrouded good enough and the intercooler caused the engine to over heat. i had to put the fans as pushers where the intercooler would normally go. hopefully you dont end up with the same problem

Yup I know what your talking about. The other s10 I built, the guy ordered a twin setup with shroud, super low profile like 2". Runs like a champ. I'm cheap as ****, so I'm gonna hit up the local salvage yard Tuesday and try to find a twin setup from a Concorde or northstar setup. Hell worse case ill run both push and puller and have PCM turn the both on. I'll keep you posted.

Which fans were on the other s10 you built? I wish i could have found some super low profile fans like that lol. It would have saved me tons of time and headache. I had to cut my fbody fans to hell but boy do they put out some cfm.

I found out what fan kit he used. I MIGHT buy the same one if I have no success at the scrap yard. Only low clearence area is the nipple on water pump which is 2". All other areas are 3-4" easy. So when you install dual fan setup, put the water pump nipple between the 2 fans.

Pic below of the S10 I built several months back, truck accessories with this fan setup above. BUT he did not have as much clearence as I have for some reason.

i really like them fans they look like they leave alot of room for clearance. it looks like they just made a sheet metal shroud and mounted a couple fans on them. im thinkin about just getting two low pro fans from jegs and making my own shroud. that way i could put my intercooler up front again. and it wouldnt cost so damn much. $250 is pricey
