is the thread that has the info, there are also some ppl that have seen this car and seen it running on the dyno and track, and he says MTI Heads, not C5R, but then again who knows right?
Thanks for the info, CAT3. So MTI won't port C5R heads?

But even if they are stock castings, I still have to wonder about the longevity. I'm sure RR could get a few dyno pulls for 1K or better (assuming the right turbo) before the radiator pressurized, right?

Most of the guys I have seen over the 800RWHP run the car really fat on the dyno

Well theres a big difference in the amount of boost between these two engines, which I didnt think of until right now.
Vette has 60 more cubic inches, with a set of what we can only assume to be hogged out high flowing heads and intake. Also the twin turbos are at lower boost. Which brings me to this question..

Using two T60 turbos at 13 would be moving the same air as a T120 at 26psi or no? I dont know enough about turbos to discern between their peak and potential, and all that. Hell I cant even understand a compressor map yet. so there must be something with that as well.

Cubes are certainly a part of the equation, but the force that makes power is the pressure in the cylinder times the area of the face of the piston. Bigger or smaller piston area, they all have to have the same force down, onto the piston, to make equivalent power. It's all about the pressure, and gaskets can only hold so much, depending on the configuration... Right?

I need sleep, not just lay down close eyes and rest. I didnt even think that a gasket is a gasket no matter if its on a large or small bore! Damn. Now I know I need to read more when awake.

I am wondering the same, can anyone shed some light on this?

13psi would be the same if two T60s were producing it or one turbo.(VERY general statement) Of course efficiency of the pipes and everything else plays a factor but, you get the idea.

Two turbos will only have to flow half the volume of air as a big single to produce a given amount of pressure.

two T60 turbos at 13psi(manifold pressure) ≠T120 at 26psi

two T60 turbos at 13psi = T120 at 13psi (General statement again)

Nope. Truck blew up and couldn't make it to the track. Hopefully I'll be able to borrow a truck tomorrow and make it to Beech Bend. Did get a chance to re-dyno it though....but just can't seem to hit the 800rwhp mark.
It made 792rwhp/904rwtq at 11.5:1 AF on 21lbs of boost. Maybe if I would have taken the 28x10.5W slicks off and put on some radials, I'd have gotten 8xxRWHP???

Oh well....going to bed.

So she aint blowing pressure into the coolant system when she is cold huh? Maybe the run will work out. Good luck.

those big 28x10.5W tires are definately soaking up some dynojet horsepower.
