Default Are these decent turbo headers?

I saw these on ebay and they are in my city. They are going for cheap so far. Whats your take on them? They look decent and seem to be what I need for my turbo s10. Any input?

I hava a set of the truck manifolds and I dont like the fit of them. Lol the passenger side flange hits the alternator. These headers go up and forward on the drivers side.

They always hit the alternator lol. You have to get a relocation kit.

True. But truth be told I just dont like the way the manifolds look. They look too "stock" for me. If these go cheap enough I will snag them if not then ill pass.

This is true unless you cut the 3 bolt flange off and weld v bands on. Then the stock alternator mount works.

Bob, the price is way out of my range on those. I doubt these headers go for over 200 bucks. And fast bird, I realize that but in an open engine bay with stock manifolds looks to plain. Im looking for something to make the engine bay pop. I just looked at the headers on ebay today. the guy lives 2 blocks down from me haha I took them to my house and placed them where they would go and they fit good. Im going for them! Also he said that the fit that he didnt like was in his GTO. That engine bay is TIGHT! Thanks for the input.

They were out of my price range too, but after dealing with all the other crap, I made room in the budget for them. You get what you pay for.

x2 !!

I know what you mean. It just kills me everytime I see someone"rig" up a set out truck manifold with a 3 bolt flange and a tight bend forward ... just cut them off and weld on a 2.5" for a nice forward flowing hotside. I guess some things are too obvious/easy sometimes

Yes they are cheap, but the quality (or lack there of) shows. They are just high-temp painted, weld job is average, etc.

And I still have never liked the passenger side that has to go backwards and crossover, etc. But that's just my opinion.

besides the fact that the stock manifolds are much better for a turbo setup anyway. They will never crack or fail. You could use them on several turbo kits. Do you want to look plain but be fast? You have to spend big money to get away from plain, and that still doesn't make a set of good ss headers better then stock manifolds.
