Nope, no filter.
Might be an idea to fit a filter to prevent another turbo taking a ****.

I have a filter for it. Just take it off at the track.

So the results are in!!! We installed the new Comp 88 along with a Neal Chance converter and the car is showing less power on the dyno (890 compared to 936) on the same boost. BUT the fuel pump is now maxed out with the new turbo and had plenty of steam left with the old PT88. Since I don't really trust dyno numbers anyways, we took it to the track.

PREVIOUS BEST WITH PT88
In Houston with about 1000 DA
1.54
6.07@124mph
9.20@155
22lbs of Boost

NEW BEST WITH COMP 88
In Albuquerque 7500 DA
1.54
6.01@126mph
9.22@152mph
20lbs of Boost

So far so good, need a new pump and gonna turn it up!!

Funny thing is, what was left of the shaft/turine wheel had minimal play. And that is exactly how I pulled it out

The PT88 you had on there before, was that the old PT88 or the PT8847?

I had my pt88 seize up on me, New out of the box after about 20 dyno and street pulls, made 904whp 830wtq @18 psi on 98 octane pump gas , 370cid, l92 heads, tu1 cam, i think i could touch 1000whp with a cam swap, seriously thinking of converting to COMP CX5 t4 , would love to see your dyno numbers with a better pump...
