Chris, I tig welded v-bands on my manifolds without any issues. Just make sure you pre heat and post heat them or put them in a bucket of sand after they are welded and you will be fine. They weld really nice and aren't like normal cast.....in fact some are mig welding them with mild steel wire.

Manifolds are back from welding.. refitted to make sure there were no issues.. Should have the intake and downpipe parts this week.. more pics to come

Thanks man!! I have been moving along but slowly... on hold for a few weeks right now cause of major house renovations and band schedule.. but I did get the intake and parts to make my downpipes... gonna try and get them done in the next week or so
