I also wonder since there was only 1 w.o.t pull if they look so lean from just running lean out of w.o,t. My car idles and runs around really lean until I load it. I mean idles/drives like 14.9-16.0 @ 22 in/vac

It is actually really hard to fatten it up esp in shortpulse. My car actually runs lean and sputters lean because the injectors open and close so fast they are shooting blanks.
The ls9 cam idles so smooth and the vacuum is so high with the negative overlap that it bareley uses any fuel at idle or low rpm.
We dropped fuel pressure from 58psi to 40 psi at idle to see if we couldnt get better driveability. Bottom line is it just doesnt use hardly any fuel if its not loaded. the 60lb injectors cant get that tiny little bit of fuel out. If i fatten it up it will idle at like 12.5 and kill me with fumes. Also milage goes to hell. There doesnt seem to be any happy medium because the cam is so mild.
I am kind of in a pinch there. The tuner said just run a nastier cam and it will use more fuel and drive better. I really have no complaints on the LS9 cam though. It seems to make power all the way up to 7 and I tell everyone its a stock LS1 and there is no argument beause it idles so nice lol.

Lol. If my fuel lines could handle it I would. I just made a complete fuel system from Earls SuperStock (Parker Pushloc) hose. Not the bright blue that is Teflon coated though. The regular old black 350 psi hose. People run E85 on it. Parker store tells me not too though. They say I need the blue teflon coated Earls for marine to run E85.
Not that cracking or rotting was the issue. It was that it needed the teflon barrier to stop the super small alchohol molecules from passing through the rubber and causing a soaking/stinking situation. However after looking on all kinds of forums googling that hose people have had success running E85. I just know I am technically not "suppose to" without teflon coating.

Phil tunes it. I do not have a copy of it. I do believe that the shortpulse issue is related to the high engine vacuum. I am not sure why it has 22 in at idle. It goes absolute when I downshift also.
Is there any explanation to why the vacuum is so high with the ls9 cam?

Closed the gap up and fixed the problem. Screams up to 7 smooth. Now this thing needs a brake upgrade. How are you guys slowing these things down? It is really a problem because I dont have 2500$ for some crazy aftermarket brakes lol.

Glad to hear it fixed the problem. High speed declines will kill your brakes really fast. Crack your rotors etc. My friend has the c5 upgrade on his brakes. Seem to work pretty good. I have drag brakes on my new car so I dont know how long these will last. Just keep an eye on the plugs

Got a little video made. This is my buddys 1st video with his editing software he was just playing around figuring out how to make it work.
At the end of the video my car does a 70-140mph roll starting in 3rd gear. The blue Shelby was about 4 car lengths ahead and I waited to hear him hit than I drove into the throttle.
-Shelby has pulley/longtubes/full Corsa exhaust/dynotune. 585whp. 1600 miles on it.
-Trans Am on the gate 9-10 psi. With 2 passengers.

You will be very happy. If you have any install questions let me know. I figured out a couple ways to make install a little easier on yourself too.
I got more *** whippings to post as well.
