Small update. Since i got the shop built behind my house, Interior is finished, brakes are done, 3.08 gears are in. I also cut out the hood for the intake tube to pass through, just need to put some of that trim over the edges. Car will be satin black by the end of the week!

Now that everything is pretty much done and put together, I gave the car a face lift, and threw on the other wheels. I wish that I could lower the rear about 1.5" more but then it would make the DR's rub, so this is as good as it gets. Still have to put the spoiler back still. I'm gonna get my buddy Adam to take some better pictures once the weather clears up and its nice out.

Got the 2 step hooked up to the transbrake, 3500 2 step/TB builds all 10 lbs in 3 seconds on the BG1 setting (10lbs). Gonna take some video tomorrow, sounds pretty sick!

Did you paint over the tail light covers? lol Your car looks bad ***. The only thing I would do is change the color of your intake piping. That Satin black paint looks evil, the intake in polished or silver would look really good. Again, just another opinion. Regardless, it looks bad *** and can't wait to see it run.

I have the same intercooler and will put it on in a few weeks.

Its just a plasti-dip paint job. This is a pretty low budget built. So I just peeled the stuff off the windows/lights after I got done spraying it. I've contemplated changing the color of the intake piping, just dont feel like taking the car apart again, now that it finally runs!

I run a Futral in my 5.3 also. Mines a F13 or F14 and sounds rowdy like that. Sounds awesome.

I like it, would look better with a 2-1/2" cowl hood and you wouldn't have to cut the hood for clearance issues .

If thats just plastidip, it looks sick! plus if you get tired of it, it can just come right back off

made my first pull after doing a little tuning. I did however forget to change the overboost setting on the Eboost. But the peak boost showed was 18.5lbs. 2nd gear pull from about a 50mph roll. It went from 50-90 in about 3 seconds peddling it a little bit. Its pretty rediculous. In second gear it makes boost around 4200rpms and builds so fast i cant even watch the gauge. converter is pretty loose, might have to get it tightened up a bit.

Awesome build man, taking it to the dyno anytime soon? Curious to see results with twin 70's. Seems people are having a hard time finding the perfect set of twins for these 5.3 TT builds. Are they On3's or CX racing or something else?

Finally got it to the local 1/8 mile track for some tnt. I was really surprised on how well the car did. Made a couple shake down 100ft hits and finally got a full 1/8 mile pass in. This was on 22lbs. Race weight was 3095 with driver and 10 gal of e85. 2 stepset at 3500 off the transbrake. I think im at the mercy of the stock gen 3 rods. Started to get a little piston slap after the run which i hadnt had before on startup. Goes away once its warmed up though. Migh take a few * out and add some more boost next go around.

1.39 60ft
3.880 330ft
5.876 1/8 mile
124.04 mph

Nice! What kind of timing are you running on the 2step and down the track?
