unforunately, I didnt get to finish the car when I wanted to, ended up having some things to take care of the last week I was home. I'm in San Diego now for Recruiting School, so It'll be after the new year until I can start back on the project. Not much left to get it going though.

Only about 2 weeks until I get back home to work on the car some more. Not much of an update, but I picked up a Speedhut GPS speedometer, so i wont have to rely on the tach when cruising around.

Well my boredom got me motivated to work on the car again. There isnt much I can do with the weather the way it is, and no workspace. I took the stock cluster apart, Cut out a piece of ABS plastic in place of the stock gauges, then mounted the aftermarket gauges to that. Turned out pretty good, still need to make something similar for the boost controller, Speedometer and dual WB02 guages that will go in places of the HVAC controls.

Yeah I did the entire car in them since I had rewired it from scratch. I cant wait to get my shop built, so I have somewhere to actually work on the car. I'm just doing this little piddly stuff where I can. For now the car sits in the trailer surrounded by all my shop equipment and toolboxes

Got some more work done on the car today. Shifter mounted, chute mounted. Welded in the handle bracket too. Finished up all the fuel/oil lines as well as the vacuum lines. Just needs coolant, E85( gas station about 2 miles from house has it at the pump ), and battery charge and it'll be ready to fire up. Gonna measure for the Driveshaft tomorrow and finish wiring up the guages.

its a wolfe kit with stroud chute. It was on my last car, and re-used it. If I had a welder back then when I built that car, I would have made it myself.
