We will have details shortly. Also going to have billet wheel options and the larger race covers as well with larger backplates as options.

Would the pte76 bolt right in place of my turbo? Overall size? I always thought a 3" dp is too small, how much would the pte76 support on my setup?

The PTE unit will support another 100hp or so and extend the rpm range about another 800, maybe 1000rpms max. It also has a 3" DP on it. Overall size is very close, except the comp cover is 3" outlet instead of 2.5" for the Tnetics.

When we made 800+ with a 370/tc76 combo it was a battle. Peak power was at 5200 with an ls6 cam/intake. We had a good amount of spring preasure on the exhaust side and just dealt with it making power like a diesel. We had to run a 4" down pipe to keep from killing turbos too. 5800lb truck went 11.0@127 on 22" wheels with it.

You can bolt a pt76GTS right in place of your t netics. Your tetics uses a 68mm (approximatley 2.5"" wheel) with a 3" v band. The Precision gives you a 75mm. (basically full 3" wheel with a 3-5/8 V-band. It bolts right to a 3" pipe/V-band though. No issue.

I would say go bigger yet to a BW but then you will run into downpipe/k member issues.

The 3" pipe isnt the bottle neck the 68mm wheel is. The 3" pipe will be your next bottleneck though. All depends on your power goals. That precision will make 7-800 wheel up to 7k. Anything more I would say go BW.

I'd love to see you move into a T4 BWS475 with the 92mm wheel.

That turbo would shine on that motor.

I just got a boner! Wouldn't that be too big for the street? How big is it? I guess i'm gonna have to part with some extra $$ to finally make good power.

No, not at all.

You got to get over the "too big" mentality with these motors, they flow incredible amounts of air.

I agree. Just deal with the little bit of lag if any or brake boost. The big end a real exhaust turbine will give you is a far better trade off that the quick spool and falling on its face.

Changing to higher load springs for now to see how it effects the graph, that will be the last attempt befor going to a BW unit.

changed the springs and it really cleaned up the graph, but that's only about 11 psi on a non-load dyno, made 550whp, i'm gonna try to get some mustang dyno time to tune for higher boost on load..

Good to know, what springs did you have and what did you change them to?

Once it's loaded it will make a world of difference in what it's really going to do.

One thing about our dyno here at the shop is we can put as much load on it as we want to, and our dyno isn't a "happy" dyno.

The old springs were patriot gold springs .650 lift the new ones are the same brand but higher load and higher lift rated, i know they're notthe best choice but i just wanted to diagnose the problem, it put down 550whp on 11psi with a clean graph , now i'll need to add boost to see at what point will it start floating the valves again , on an un-happy dyno like yours ofcourse

My tc76 just blew it's seals, well announced with a nice big cloud of smoke, ushering in an upgrade to a PT88, to be installed next week. Let's all put our hands together and hope for a clean dyno graph this time around...

Going to be night and day difference, you could gain 100whp on the same boost setting no problem
