Does anyone know the size differance between the two units tc76 vs pt88 ?
I'm trying to figure out if the new turbo will fit in the same location with no headaches.

I'd say about an inch bigger in every direction.

It will be quite a bit longer, and the shaft axis will move a decent amount too

I have had tc, gts, and now pt88

When did you swap for the PT88?

I changed it in August, crazy difference

For as much power difference i saw going to the bigger turbine of the pt88 from the gts i wish i could stick a gt55 or S500 turbine in it, haha

Big

I went from 148-149 to 157-158

Not really a fair compare though since for both turbos my transmission was messed up, the converter exhaust circuit was blocked so no oil could leave it at all

With the 88 i would really be pushing through hard on top when the oil would be in nuke meltdown mode

I wish i had more physical space because i would like to try more turbine yet

The op is going to **** his pants when he puts the 88 on compared to what he had
