60lb to 80lb Injector Swap Need Help Please!
Hey guys!
Hopefully I'll get some more views here!
Just swapped from a 60lb motron injector to a 80lb deka/siemens injector on my ls turbo setup.
Car was tuned speed density with the 60's and ran PERFECT.
I adjusted the IFR's to "80" across instead of "93.9" because I lowered the fuel pressure from 60psi to 43.5psi. Just wanted to take some stress off the pumps. I also have a boost reference Aeromotive regulator installed.
The problem:
Start-up blows dies out, but once it finds itself it runs good at idle and part-throttle. However, once I start to roll into the throttle at about 35% throttle and up I max out the knock retard table. I get over 15* of retard. My air/fuels drop to 10:1 @ 85kpa. A/f's at idle are 14-14.7.
So do I scale the VE back by 25%? Any help would be appreciated!
Or, if anyone has a .hpt file with 80lb injectors that they could upload that would be great!
