Essentially, yes. The 224 has a small roller, something like 1400lbs so it doesn't place a significant amount of load on the engine. Turbos don't spool as quick with less load so the powerband doesn't come on as early with this dyno.

Little update on my 5.3. We put the mustang on the dyno last night just to double check the tune and ened up making a bit more hp. 876rwhp and 701ftlbs @20psi (gt4508r) thru a th400 on a dynojet dyno. Will be taking it to the strip (1/8mi) tomorrow. I'll work on getting a vid and dyno graft up asap.

996rwhp/950tq stock bottom end 5.3L, PT 76/75, 799 heads, 224 cam, 4L80E, 12 bolt rear end, through full exhaust, 127lb injectors, magnafuel 750 pump, e85. 28LBS.

Not that it matters but my 588 is kind of a wash. The car has gone 118mph for ET in the 1/8th. That is at a race weight of 3870lbs. We only used the dyno to get a base tune. Just thought I would give that info since it says my speed was a 100. Should be 118.42mph. Still no where near the top of this chart. Amazing!
