My first Nova combo was 5.3 w/ 317 heads (poor choice), 224r cam, GT45 master power turbo. 15psi + 50hp nitrous... through a TCI streetfighter converter (another poor choice, blew through a lot). In my 72 Nova w/ me in it (3660lbs) went 10.31 @ 131mph. HP/weight calculate out to 640whp.
MPH would be nice to add to that list also.... MPH I think is more valuable info than ET. ET would pertain to the car/chassis more, MPH would pertain to the HP and efficiency of your driveline.
Hopefully in the next week or 2 i'll have another 5.3 to add to this list...should be a lot better than my previous one. PT76GTS, glide, and a decent converter this time. I swapped out my 370 for a stock 5.3 bottom end in my TA.

No nitrous, that setup builds boost instantly, the converter isn't a 5500 converter, its a PTC 3200 spec by Dusty Bradford. I have a graph someone, I posted it on here before. I don't have a dyno video, but the track times back up the numbers. Even the lighter mustangs/other swaps haven't been anywhere near the mph we put down. The car is on e85 as is all our turbo builds. It was on houseofboost's Dynocom Eddy-Current Load Dyno. The reason the tq number is so big is the hp number is so high at low rpm, I had full boost at a very low rpm. When you have 20lbs of boost at 3500 rpm vs 10lbs of boost, yes it's going to make a lot more tq.

They are Trickflow 235's which require atleast a 4.125 gasket or the gasket will be exposed to the chamber. They are on my 6.0 lq9, which will accept the ls9 gaskets no problem. I believe the ls9's are 4.10, which is no good with my heads. Right now i am forced to go with 4.125 cometics for my build.
