I have the SDCE LS1 tensioner and am getting belt slippage. Dust everywhere. 14lbs down to 9-10lbs.
Anyone experience this? If so, what did you do? Thanks

Never had any belt slip with my SDCE tensioner. I have mine set up with the prochager pully down as far as it will go with out pushing the belt in to the stand off nuts then I set the spring tensioner tight. Did you get the litte tool from SDCE to set their tensioner ? Also get a new bet on there before you try to tighten up the 2 tensioners.

Can you tighten it with the belt on or do you have to take it off and preload it again.
I appreciate the help. My buddy's was way out and mine was against the stopper that sticks up.

Well the only time I had belt slip with the SDCE was when it was adjusted wrong. And its a fine line too. I ran the Aster bracket as well and while its a nicer designed peice, I can't say that it worked any better. I liked both, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the SDCE set up and its a little simpler to put belts on etc... I ran 28# on the SDCE bracket F1R on a 346. But with the tentioner just a tad bit loose it would only run half that lol! I like to adjust them. Then drive them around just a bit, not real hard. Bring it back and re-adjust it a tad bit tighter etc... GL! Hope it helps you.
