I made brackets that bolted into the original holes and they extended out so that i could bolt the rails down. I can take some better pics today to give u a better understanding

i used some aluminum angle that was laying around. you can pick up the angle from menards. i just drilled a hole to mount onto the intake then i drilled another one on the side of the angle to mount to the fuel rail. i think their like 2" wide. im not sure if they'll leak yet or not though. did you try buying new o rings?

The converter its done from ptc and next week I'm getting the tranny finished then putting it back together the following weekend

On3's 6165's with .68ar turbines. They started making 61mm compressor wheels now for their v6 mustang kit and still use their 65mm turbine wheel that's in all their turbos. Thanks e40 guy.

Do you have a link to them? I was thinking of the cxracing gt35's or something else cheap, til I can save up for a pair of Comps.

They don't advertise the turbos they just list them in their mustang v6 turbo kit on Ebay. I emailed them to get the specs. They cost the same as their 70mm turbos.

was going to put the engine and tranny in today since my transmission is finished but we realized the flexplate bolts didnt have enough threads so we went into town to find some and its impossible to find m11x1.5 bolts because gm decided to be **** and make it impossible to buy some other than them and every place was closed so we made the ones i had work rigging **** up. then the 5.3 flywheel didnt work because of the long crankshaft so now i need to buy a 6.0 flexplate because the dumb **** who i bought the engine from didnt have it on there. and to top it off my engine fell off the hoist, luckily the oil pan didnt crack and i hope everything else is good internally. so now i have to wait even longer to put this **** back together.

ported 317's torqued down with my $69 kmj head studs

best looking $100 valve covers i ever seen!!! only put them on for mock up

almost fully assembled. just need some 7.300" pushrods from texas speed

MAP mounted

coolant crossover

PITA 8.5mm msd plug wires. says their meant for relocating coils but come pre assembled and i dont think theyll be long enough!!! pisses me off

this is where the coils will be mounted. right in the rain tray

What kind of Intake is that? Is that a BBK? never seen one like that, it looks like a stock truck intake spray painted chrome :-) What is that?

heres joe again patiently taking out the brake booster. valve covers are too damn big lol. my power brakes didnt work anyway so manual brakes it is

now that the engine and tranny are finally buttoned in and all the big money is spent things are going to pick up really quick. i just ordered some smartfire 120lb injectors for $310 off ebay so we'll see how they work out and im going to order another bosche 044 for backup so the fuel system will be done next week

It's coming along. Turbo is mounted and downpipe started. I was going to finish the hot side this weekend, but it looks like we will be going to get a CTS-V for the wife!

Nice to see it coming together. I just picked up a 08 impala as a new daily, so that's where most of my extra money is going. Slowed my build down quite a bit.
