With a 3.55 head unit pulley, it depends on how big the crank pulley is. I think he uses one that is close to 8" if memory serves me correctly.

If that's the case, it would be (8/3.55) *4.10 internal stepup *7000rpm = 64676 blower rpm. Max impeller rpm for a D1SC is 62,000.

I'm sure the original poster can comment. I think this was a corvette, not sure.

What size are your injectors? What meth nozzle are you using?

800 rwhp out of a D1SC on a LS motor is not uncommon. I'm pretty sure there are plenty out there.

The pulley combo is a 3.55 with a 8" crank-for a impellar rpm of 64k-but given 5-10% belt slip it's probaby only turning 60k.

About 6 years ago I made similar power through an auto on my car-it's a very capable blower.

25gph is the standard deal on the Alky setup, 30gph is not uncommon.

damn....i was gonna go with an AES motor, but this has me rethinking. itd probably be cheaper to stay with my motor and buy a rotating assembly. i wanna make like 850rwhp. Id probably move up to the F1A though. What are you thoughts on this? 347/F1A. im just worried about lifting a head or pushing water. thats why i was just gonna go bigger cubes with a bigger blower but still only make moderate boost and big power vs small cubes/high boost.

what kind of fuel system also.

It's running a Lonnies double pumper setup. I have never had any water pushing issues with 4 bolt heads and 1000 rwhp.

The F1A is a badass little blower.

Thats got to be close to the limit of 60lb injectors. Are you worried about the meth going down and losing all that fuel.

I'll check the log but I think we were in the 85-88% range. No fear of having the meth fail-this is what happened when it did earlier this year.

As the IAT's rise the timing drops and more fuel is added-this is the safeguard I build into every tune.

EB thats how I do it now too.

In PE mode I use the IAT table to add fuel with increased temps and I pull timing. Even if you were to max out the injectors with the increase in IAT's (adding fuel) the IAT spark table would make it safe if pulling timing.

I will say this though, I use to be a big fan of spraying 100% meth but on my kit I sprayed 100% meth with twin 14gph nozzles and it would change the AFR 2 full points. I am back to 50/50 mix and the change is roughly 1 full point.

60 lbs. injectors can help make a lot of power if you have the fuel delivery to back them up, I have made over 1,100 super charged crank torq at 80 % cycle using 60 lbs. injectors and my friend watching there asked me how was possible if he was running out of injector duty cycle at 650 whp my answer-get a good fuel delivery to support your injectors.

When your fuel delivery lacks the injectors have to make up so the tuner adds duty cycle till it maxes out then tuner can no longer add fuel, at that time must will ran out to buy bigger injectors, in must cases this is wrong-upgrade your fuel delivery system.

I still say it's hard to beat a D1SC for a street car.
